Summer must have

As the name suggests, blush is applied to the cheeks, specifically the cheekbones and the area adjacent to them. This allows you to give the whole image symmetry and three-dimensionality. A face covered only with foundation and powder seems flat, without features. For this reason, color cosmetics are particularly important in makeup. Remember to choose their shades according to your beauty.

Blush is a cosmetic that every woman should have in her makeup bag.

How to Choose a Blush? Choose the Perfect Shade for Your Skin Tone!

There are many types of blushes. They are divided primarily by their colors. How to find the perfect product for you? Choose the right shade for your skin type and the effect you want to achieve.

  • pale skin – delicate, powdery pink or strong pink in shades of fuchsia or red;
  • light neutral skin – blush in shades of beige, bubblegum, apricot or peach;
  • light, warm skin (with yellow undertones) – pastel pink with a cool tone;
  • light, cool skin (with pink undertones) – apricot or peach blush;
  • olive complexion – apricot, peach, orange or coral blush, cool, "dirty" pink with brown undertones;
  • dark complexion – intense pink in a shade of apricot, coral or orange, cool pink tending towards purple;
  • dark complexion – pink tending towards brown, intense fuchsia or orange pink.

How should you apply blush to your cheeks?

The coloured products of each brand differ in consistency. The most common choice of users are stone blushes (baked) and cream blushes. The former are applied dry, usually between applying bronzer and highlighter. Cream products are applied before applying matte powder. When the foundation is wet, the blush easily transfers from the brush to the cheeks, blending with the rest of the make-up.

Cream or gel blushes can also be applied to the face with a sponge. Another method is to pat them in with your fingertips. Products of this type work great on dry and normal skin. However, they are not recommended for combination or oily skin.

Remember to match the ease of blending the cosmetic to your skills. This will help you avoid unsightly spots on your cheeks.
