What are peptides?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids (from 2 to a few dozen). In cosmetics they act as bioactive messengers – they signal skin cells to produce collagen and elastin.

How do peptides work on the skin?

They stimulate fibroblasts to produce collagen, relax the facial expression muscles (neurotransmitter peptides such as Argireline), strengthen the skin barrier and speed up regeneration.

What types of peptides are there?

Signal peptides – stimulate collagen (Matrixyl). Neurotransmitter peptides – relax the muscles (Argireline). Carrier peptides – transport minerals.

How do you use peptides?

Daily, morning and evening. They combine excellently with hyaluronic acid and ceramides. Don't apply them together with strong AHA/BHA acids – better at different times of day.
